Open-World RPG ‘Genshin Impact’ Reveals Upcoming Closed Beta Registration is Now Open

MiHoYo announced that players can register for an upcoming closed beta test for their open-world RPG Genshin Impact, planned to release on PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices in 2020.

The closed beta is scheduled to launch in Q1 of 2020 for PC and mobile players. Those who are eager to sign up can do so at the game’s official website where they are taking registration. This closed beta will have players explore a brand new Eastern area known as Liyue Harbor, which recently received a new trailer. A solid release date has not been given at this time.

Genshin Impact is an 0pen-world Action RPG where you will play as a young protagonist known as the traveler. During gameplay, players will be able to explore and climb various buildings and locations, and battle monsters around the game’s open world. This game is definitely inspired by titles like Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Breath of the Wild just by the look of it, but the models and animations are very similar to Honkai Impact 3rd.

In case you missed it, check out the new Switch trailer for the game along with new details about the game’s world.
