Genshin Impact 2.1 Version Update Now Avaliable To Pre-Install on PC and Mobile

The long-awaited conclusion of the Inazuma saga nears the end as Genshin Impact‘s 2.1 update has now been officially released for pre-installation on PC and mobile. You can begin installing and allocating most of the required data and begin the update immediately when it releases on September 1st, after brief maintenance. It is important to note that this update will require 15 GB of free disk space on PC.

If you’re in the US, the maintenance will begin on August 31st, 6 PM (Eastern), 5 PM (Central), 4 PM (Mountain), 3 PM (Pacific), and will end 5 hours later. As for the UK side, the maintenance will begin on August 31, 11 PM and will end at 4 AM the next day.

Here’s a brief list of what you should expect in Version 2.1:

• New Inazuma areas: Watatsumi Island and Seirai Island
• New bosses: La Signora, Thunder Manifestation, Hydro Hypostasis
• Events confirmed: Moonchase Festival and 1st Anniversary Celebration
• New mechanic: Fishing
• New characters: Raiden Shogun, Sangonomiya Kokomi, Kujou Sara, Aloy
