Genki Covert Dock for Nintendo Switch is Now Available to Purchase Worldwide
The Genki Covert Dock had an incredibly successful Kickstarter, where players saw the benefit of a more portable way to play their Nintendo Switch on the go on TVs.
The pocket-sized plug features all of the functionality of the Switch dock but fits in your pocket, and it’s now available for worldwide purchase. The device has the ability to charge and display the Switch to any TV connected through HDMI. Furthermore, it can display other USB-C devices on any screen as well.
The unit is retailing for $74.99 and can be purchased from the manufacturer’s website.
The Genki Covert Dock is 90% smaller than the Switch Dock and 22% smaller than the native Switch charger. With the device, players are able to display 1080p resolution to the TV while feeling comfortable about the power flow to their device, which is managed through proper engineering.
Fast charging is enabled with the device using outputting 30 wats, and it doesn’t require any additional software installation when connecting other devices. The device also features foldable prongs to keep the design compact and can be shipped with global adapters for 180 countries.
It’s an interesting little device that I’m sure Switch users will find a use for if they are going to their friend’s Switch-less house and always have to bring their docks with them.
