Games with Gold February 2020 – Classic Star Wars, High Speed Racing, and More
February isn’t already looking like a good month, not because it’s my birthday, but it’s another month with free games for those with an Xbox Gold Subscription who, like me, can’t pass without racing games. Microsoft announced the latest entries in which players can jump in and start playing in just a few days.
For the Xbox One, we have two titles that will please fans of high-speed adrenaline, and anyone wishing for a dark, mysterious adventure.
TT Isle of Man (February 1-29)
This Supercross race is a take based on the mythic Snaefell Mountain course, a well-known circuit that challenges both man and machine.
Call of Cthulhu (February 16-March 15)
A unique take on the famous Lovecraftian psychological horror, inspired by Chaosium’s classic pen and paper RPG.
On the Xbox 360, we have Fable Heroes (February 1-15), the popular Xbox Live Arcade released back in 2012. A fun beat ‘em up developed by Lionhead Studios, the original creators of Fable.
The original Star Wars Battlefront (February 16-29) released back in 2004 is perhaps one of the most interesting ones of the pack. While you’ve probably been playing the recent Star Wars games, this classic is still incredibly popular among fans, and for a reason: It’s good!
Xbox Gold Subscription allows players to access games from the original Xbox to the latest Triple-A releases, with Microsoft’s retro compatibility. This service costs $9.99 and grants you instant access to a massive library across Xbox One and PC.
