Furi Demake – The Chain Now Available; Free 8-Bit Version of Original Game’s First Boss

Sylph and The Game Bakers have launched Furi Demake – The Chain, an 8-bit inspired version of the original game’s first boss battle. This free game is one boss battle that lasts between 10 and 30 minutes for most players.

Reimagined in a sidescrolling context, this battle has a more challenging Furier difficulty, just like the original title. Parrying, dashing, shooting, and slashing are also present.

Furi Demake – The Chain was made to be an authentic love letter to 8-bit games and as a gift to thank the Furi community for their ongoing support.

Furi is one of my favorite games of all time, so this is really thrilling to see.

You can download Furi Demake – The Chain for free via Steam.

Check out our review of Furi on PlayStation 5. Furi is a boss-rush game where each battle demands the most out of the player’s reflexes.

The game received Onnamusha paid DLC, letting players control the Onnamusha Rider, a fighter who can switch between swift and slower but lethal stances. Speedrun, Story, and Practice modes are all playable with this new character.

Furi is now available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG.
