Funktronic Labs announced that they’ll be releasing their VR adventure title, Fujii, on PlayStation VR on December 10.
Fujii has players venture out into the world after emerging from a mystical tree. Through interacting with the environment, players will be able to water and touch the plants and creatures discovered in each biome as they work to restore the life-force of each area. The goal here is to reach the source of the Fujii’s powerful energy well, which allows them to cultivate exotic gardens from seeds.
Fujii features a musical VR adventure where players embark on a unique journey through three diverse biomes. During gameplay, they’ll collect seeds, and be able to explore the enchanting flora and fauna. Players will need to grow rare plants that are musically interactive as they vibe to the soundtrack by French artist and composer Norman Bambi. After the conclusion of the story, players can still cultivate their garden indefinitely.
To celebrate the announcement, the developer released a new trailer showing the game running on PlayStation VR hardware. The trailer gives a good preview of the gameplay and different environments that players will be able to explore in the game.
Fujii is available now on Steam.
