Fuga: Melodies of Steel Highlights Intermission Activities During New Gameplay Videos
CyberConnect2 released new gameplay from Fuga: Melodies of Steel coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on July 29, 2021.
The gameplay highlights events that players can take part in during battle intermissions. During these moments, players can spend AP to interact with characters. This will increase their bond with them and unlock additional scenarios. Further, players can use this time to do things like fish for scrap, which is a mini-game that can wield a few useful items. The game lists the items possible and the rate of success so it’s always a gamble. Additionally, players can farm and cook their food which features a few bonuses.
The gameplay is Fuga has players follow an order of actions. In the game, the player’s arsenal is a tank with a Machine Gun that can delay an enemy’s turn, Cannon, which weakens enemy armor, and Heavy Cannon, which does heavy damage. Players will be able to position their characters within each turn and, depending on the character; there will be a special effect. Special effects include Heavy Shot, Armor Break, Multi-shot and more, and this differs from character to character. At the end of each battle, players will be ranked.
The way that the battle went will determine the direction of the characters and their relationship with each other. Stronger relationships will unlock events and buffs in battle. Outside of battle, players will explore the tank, do mini-games, and craft new items, but players will have action points that exhaust as they take action. After these points have been exhausted, players will return to the adventure mode.
