Following developer CyberConnect2 announcing that their strategy RPG, Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2, has launched worldwide on all platforms, including Game Pass, the company also confirmed that the first entry in the series has achieved over 200,000 downloads worldwide. This static undoubtedly takes Game Pass into account, as sales would’ve been stated otherwise.
In January of this year, Fuga Melodies of Steel was announced to have achieved 150,000 downloads worldwide.
Fuga: Melodies of Steel 2 takes place one year after the previous game. Though the children had celebrated their victory, the war didn’t end. Half of the original crew is trapped within the Taranis, and it goes on a rampage spreading destruction all over. Now the ones left behind will join Vanilla, the daughter of Gasco, and board its counterpart, the tank Tarascus to avoid even more tragedy and save their friends. The infamous Soul Cannon, which sacrifices a party member for immense temporary power, will also return.
Lastly, to commemorate the 200,000-download milestone, CyberConnect2 shared celebratory artwork fromItsuki Hoshi, viewable below:
If you missed the news, the Fuga Melodies of Steel producer recently left CyberConnect2. Despite the message being released during April Fool’s, it is indeed legitimate.
