Front Mission 2: Remake Team Working on Updates & Improvements, Including Bug Fixes + Localization

The official Twitter account for the Front Mission Remake series has shared a brief message thanking fans for the “numerous feedback” the team has received since the launch of Front Mission 2: Remake.

According to the message, the team at Forever Entertainment is “hard at work on updates and improvements, including bug fixes and further work on localization.”

We’ll keep you all updated on any potential significant updates for Front Mission 2: Remake.

Front Mission 2: Remake takes place 12 years after the second Huffman conflict. The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has been suffering a severe economic decline ever since the war ended. On June 12th, 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh Army rose up and, led by Ven Mackarge, declared independence from the O.C.U. (Oceania Cooperative Union).

This version of the game features the following:

  • Improved loading speed
  • Support for many new languages (EN, FR, ES, PT, IT, DE, PL, ZH, JA)
  • New ‘free camera’ option to zoom in during gameplay and check out Wanzers in detail
  • New coloring and camouflage options
  • Modern in-game effects
  • Renewed soundtrack

Front Mission 2: Remake is available on Nintendo Switch.

Microids announced that they will launch a limited physical edition of Front Mission 1st: Remake for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on December 5, 2023.
