Front Mission 2: Remake Gets October Release Date for Switch in New Gameplay Trailer

Forever Entertainment announced that Front Mission 2: Remake will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2023. This will be an exclusive Switch release for the time being.

The trailer highlights gameplay and character interactions to give players a preview of the remastered effort. This title has never been released in the West and is available to overseas fans in an official capacity for the first time.

Front Mission 2: Remake takes place 12 years after the second Huffman conflict. The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has been suffering a severe economic decline ever since the war ended. On June 12th, 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh Army rose up and, led by Ven Mackarge, declared independence from the O.C.U. (Oceania Cooperative Union).

This version of the game will feature:

  • Improved loading speed
  • Support for many new languages (EN, FR, ES, PT, IT, DE, PL, ZH, JA)
  • New ‘free camera’ option to zoom in during gameplay and check out Wanzers in detail
  • New coloring and camouflage options
  • Modern in-game effects
  • Renewed soundtrack
