Front Mission 2: Remake Gets Switch Release Date Set for June; New Trailer Highlights Gameplay
Forever Entertainment announced that Front Mission 2: Remake will release on Nintendo Switch on June 12, 2023.
This title has never been released in the west and is available to oversea fans in an official capacity for the first time.
Front Mission 2: Remake takes place 12 years after the second Huffman conflict. The impoverished People’s Republic of Alordesh has been suffering a severe economic decline ever since the war ended. On June 12th, 2102, soldiers of the Alordesh Army rose up and, led by Ven Mackarge, declared independence from the O.C.U. (Oceania Cooperative Union).
We respect the attention to dates since the date in the game mirrors the release, which is exceptionally clever.
This version of the game will feature:
- Improved loading speed
- Support for many new languages (EN, FR, ES, PT, IT, DE, PL, ZH, JA)
- New ‘free camera’ option to zoom in during gameplay and check out Wanzers in detail
- New coloring and camouflage options
- Modern in-game effects
- Renewed soundtrack
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release.
