Front Mission 1st: Remake Physical PS5 & Xbox Edition Announced for December 2023

Microids has announced that they will launch a limited physical edition of Front Mission 1st: Remake for PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S on December 5, 2023. Pre-orders are not yet available.

Aside from the game itself, the package will contain the following:

• Exclusive lenticular
• Printed game manual
• Two lithographs

Front Mission 1st: Remake is set in 2090; humans battle in large-scale conflicts utilizing mechs called Wanzers. One particular conflict occurs at the locale where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) share a land border, Huffman Island.

Players witness the story of the military-discharged Royd Clive as he tries to discover what happened to his vanished fiance, Lieutenant Karen Meure, following a U.C.S. Wanzer ambush.

Front Mission 1st: Remake is available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. 

Front Mission 2: Remake will launch on Nintendo Switch on October 5, 2023. This will be an exclusive Switch release for the time being.
