Front Mission 1st: Remake Launches Free Demo on Switch; Save Data Transfers to Full Game

Forever Entertainment announced that players can test out the opening chapters of Front Mission 1st: Remake through a free demo on Nintendo Switch, available later today.

The demo features:

  • Tutorial
  • Two missions from OCU campaign
  • Arena
  • 3 difficulty levels
  • Modern and Classic gameplay modes
  • Wanzers and Pilots customization

Further, players are able to transfer Save Data to the full game if they want to continue their adventure.

Front Mission 1st: Remake was initially released on  Nintendo Switch on November 30, 2022. Front Mission 2: Remake is currently set to release on June 12, 2023.

Currently, Front Mission 1st: Remake is a Switch exclusive, with no other platforms announced at this time. This is boasted as a full remake of the first entry of the series. This version also features a Modern Mode with improved controls and a fully reorchestrated soundtrack.

The game’s narrative is as follows:

In the year 2090, the world’s conflicts are fought using giant war machines called Wanzers. Huffman Island, the only place where the Oceania Cooperative Union (O.C.U.) and the Unified Continental States (U.C.S.) share a land border is a hotbed of conflict.
