Action Sim RPG ‘The friends of Ringo Ishikawa’ Gets Nintendo Switch Release Date

Circle Entertainment announced that the yeo developed brawler adventure RPG The friends of Ringo Ishikawa will launch on Nintendo Switch on April 4.

friends of Ringo Ishikawa has players assume the role of gang leader Ringo Ishikawa as he lives through his last autumn before graduation with his best friends. Throughout the game, players will experience deep dialog scenes where characters reflect on growing up. Along the way, Ringo will get into fights and take part in the many different events that all focus on the theme of friendship and coming of age.

The game is an open world beat’em up with a few touches of sim elements. Players are able to explore the town, through a day and night cycle, learn NPC schedules, battle rivals, and spend time with the game’s mini-games, such as ping-pong, billiard, video-poker, and more.

“But the main thing is the story I’m trying to tell. And I designed the game to make you feel this story. So it’s not about rival gangs, or taking over turfs, or anything. You just live there and feel. And that’s all.”

friends of Ringo Ishikawa is available now on PC-via Steam.
