Fortune Teller Beauty Rose Joins Street Fighter V: Champion Edition as the Second Character for its Season 5 Pass

During Capcom’s Street Fighter V Spring Update stream, it was revealed that the fortune teller Rose would be the second character for the Season 5 Pass of the title. Rose was first introduced into the series in Street Fighter Alpha and became a series staple from then on, with also being in Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Street Fighter IV.

Rose comes equipped with iconic skills such as  “Soul Satellite” from Street Fighter IV as a V-Skill which places pressure on opponents from summoned orbs. “Soul Illusion” from the Street Fighter Alpha series has arrived as a V-Trigger, creating a mirrored Rose that mimics the attack priorly performed.

The new “Soul Fortune” V-Skill, allows Rose to draw one of four tarot cards to buff herself or debuff her opponents. Another new move is  “Soul Dimension,” which is Rose’s V-Trigger, causing her to teleport to one of three spots on the screen for more varied combo options.

Rose can be purchased collectively via either the Season 5 Character Pass or the Season 5 Premium Pass. She can also be purchased individually for $5.99 or 100,000 Fight Money. Additionally, the new stage based on her Street Fighter 2 Alpha stage, Marina of Fortune, can be purchased for $3.99 or 70,000 Fight Money.
