Action-Shooter ‘Foreclosed’ Gets Release Date With Physical Version Confirmed
Merge Games announced that the Antab Studio-developer third-person action-shooter, Foreclosed will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam on August 12.
The publisher released a gameplay overview that includes the new release date and gives viewers a chance to preview some of the missions in the game. Players can utilize psychic abilities and an arsenal of guns to take down enemies.
Further, a physical release has been confirmed for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Switch.
Foreclosed is a narrative driving action game that tells an original futuristic story. Players assume the role of Evan Kapnos who has just been Foreclosed on and lost his job. He hopes to escape the city to find his identity and implants before they’re auctioned off in hopes of getting his life back.
The story segments with the game resemble graphic novel-like cinematics. Throughout the game, players will collect new guns that can each be upgraded along with additional brian implant abilities for Evan. On the other hand, his Symbiotic Pistol can take on new roles through customization using materials found through combat.
