Yuri Visual Novel ‘Folklore of Kudan Remastered’ Renamed to ‘The Curse of Kudan’ for English Release; Opening Move Released
SukeraSparo announced that their yuri urban legends-themed visual novel Folklore of Kudan Remastered will launch with English support, but retitled to The Curse of Kudan.
Currently, the team doesn’t have a release date, but they did release the opening movie with the song “Two Lights.” The opening provides a look at the characters and some of the CGs within the game.
Folklore of Kudan tells the story of a set of urban legends knowns as Kudan. Each of these legends is different, but they need to be dealt with. Sakuya Kudan is the main protagonist and leader of the kendo club. She’s cool, calm, and collected and has a few good friends to support her.
However, she shares a name the local apparition and has always felt connected to some supernatural elements, which she decides she needs to face. Throughout the story, she will learn how she’s connected to the Kudan legend.
The Curse of Kudan will feature text support for Japanese, English, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese. The resolution of the game has also been increased from 720 to 1080p full HD. Additionally, the developer has included a jump function for players to return to any point of the game from the backlog screen.
