Foamstars Introduces the Penguin Soldier, Pen Gwyn

Square Enix has announced that they will highlight the cast of their upcoming competitive shooter, Foamstars, throughout the coming weeks. For the third character, they’ve described Pen Gwyn, a penguin soldier raised in Antarctica who “chills” anyone who stands in her way of stopping global warming. In gameplay, she utilizes the Assault Rifle Type.

In Foamstars, foam is the ultimate resource. It can be used in multiple ways: To create slippery surfaces that players can use to surf around the arena at high speed; to build terrain, helping players defend from enemy attacks or creating high vantage points to take out opponents; and finally, to foam up the opposition and win the match.

Not much is known about the exact release date of Foamstars, other than the fact it’s releasing for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. We’ll keep you updated regarding future developments of Foamstars.
