Fast Action Pixel Adventure ‘Flynn: Son of Crimson’ Gets September Release Date

Humble Games announced that the Studio Thunderhorse-developed action-adventure Flynn: Son of Crimson will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC-via Steam and the Humble Store on September 15, 2021.

Flynn: Son of Crimson is an action-adventure game where players take control of Flynn, who lives on the island of Rosantica that was once ravaged by war and an evil presence known as “The Scourge.”

One day, it was discovered that the barrier between Rosantica and The Scourage has cracked, and creatures have begun making their way back onto the peaceful island. Teamed up with his mythical protector Dex, whose Guardian Spirits have been stolen and must be reclaimed, Flynn will be challenged by the evil from The Scourge and its powerful overlord.

Flynn: Son of Crimson is a handcrafted 2D game with various areas to explore. The goal of the game is to fight back against The Scourage and destroy the Lord of the dimension Zealock. Players will add to their abilities utilizing mythical companies that can reveal new areas and paths. Gameplay is largely action based with a few environmental puzzles to take on.
