Flying Red Barrel – The Diary of a Little Aviator Gets Remastered PC Release Date and New Trailer
Fruitbat Factory announced they will publish the remastered release of the Orange_Juice developed shmup Flying Red Barrel – The Diary of a Little Aviator on PC-via Steam on June 19.
Flying Red Barrel – The Diary of a Little Aviator was initially released in 2007. However, the game has never been available on Steam until this release. Flying Red Barrel tells the story of Marc, an aviator who goes on adventures and protects the skies with the help of members from her guild. The Guild is tasks with taking down outlaws, but not all is revealed until later portions of the narrative.
Flying Red Barrel is a bullet-hell shmup with a cartoonish aesthetic. Players are able to fight their way through 5 stages across 3 different difficulties. The game features a secret boss and 18 different endings for players to uncover. The remastered version of the game has updated the resolution to 1280×960, but other updates have not been outlined.
The publisher also released a trailer that shows the game’s remastered graphics and characters. The trailer showcases the classic game brought back for more players to discover.
Those who purchase the game on Steam will also receive a free bonus character in 100% Orange Juice.
