Developer imissmyfriends.studio and publisher Wholesome Games Presents have announced that the narrative adventure Fishbowl will launch on April 2, 2026. The game will release on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam for $9.99.
PlayStation 5 pre-orders are available now. Players who pre-order on the platform will receive Early Access beginning March 30, 2026, a few days ahead of the full launch.
Fishbowl follows Alo, a young adult dealing with isolation, grief, and the pressures of everyday life. While sorting through memories and navigating her routine, she reconnects with a magical talking fish from her childhood named Paplet. The companion helps Alo revisit moments from her past while she attempts to move forward.
The game centers on daily life activities and personal reflection. Alo works as a video editor, and some gameplay tasks involve editing footage through a matching-style puzzle system. Players also interact with coworkers and manage small routines while Alo processes past events through dreams and memories.
Choices throughout the story influence how Alo’s future develops. The game does not include traditional fail states or bad endings. Instead, different decisions lead to different paths for the character. According to the developers, the story can take roughly seven to ten hours to complete.
