First Tales of Luminaria Information Broadcast Premiering Next Week; World and Characters Will Be Shown

The official Twitter account for Tales of Luminaria, the upcoming newest mobile entry in the Tales series, has announced that the first information broadcast for the title will be occurring next week. The game’s characters and setting will be shown, but there is no information beyond that tidbit.

The first information broadcast will be taking place on September 23, 2021, at 8 PM PDT/ 11 PM EST. The stream will be on Youtube, but no URL is available at this time and will presumably appear closer to the appointed date.

The game will tell an original story with an action-focused battle system. Mobile games have opted to bring older characters in a reunion-type of experience in the past, but this game will feature new characters. Further, the game will be played in portrait mode, and players can freely move around the battlefield to attack enemies. This is similar to a typical Tales console experience, but we’re looking forward to learning more.

Some information on the title has already been provided, such as it having an entirely new cast and a full English Dub. You can read more about this already revealed information here.

Personally, my interest is certainly piqued, but that’s only because Luminaria is still veiled in mystery. When its expected gacha elements are officially introduced, I can’t say I’ll be holding my breath, though. I’d still like to eat my words.
