Firewalk Studios, a ProbablyMonsters Studio Enters Publishing Partnership with Sony for AAA Multiplayer Title

Company ProbablyMonsters has that Firewalk Studios, a “AAA studio focused on delivering world-class multiplayer experiences,” has entered into a publishing partnership agreement with Sony Interactive Entertainment for its upcoming, first multiplayer title. This is the first announced partnership of the ProbablyMonsters family of studios.

Firewalk Studios was founded in 2018 and is led by Tony Hsu, Ryan Ellis, and Elena Siegman. This team boasts some talented developers who have delivered some rather prominent culture impacting titles such as the Destiny franchise, Call of Duty, Apex Legends, Mass Effect, and Halo. They seek to deliver a “rich multiplayer game experience [with] great core gameplay and inspired art.”

Hermen Hulst, the Head of PlayStation Studios at Sony Interactive Entertainment had this to say regarding the partnership:

“ProbablyMonsters has created an extraordinary team at Firewalk Studios with remarkable industry talent, and their original multiplayer game will be an exciting addition to our portfolio. We’re committed to bringing a wide range of diverse gaming experiences to our platform, and we’re thrilled to partner with a visionary studio like Firewalk to bring their truly ambitious experience to life.”

Harold Ryan, the CEO and founder of ProbablyMonsters, had this to say regarding the partnership:
