Fire Emblem Heroes Adds Female Alear From Fire Emblem Engage As Legendary Hero
Nintendo and Intelligent Systems have recently announced their latest gacha banner for the mobile title Fire Emblem Heroes.
This time, the female protagonist of Fire Emblem Engage, Alear, will come to the game as a Legendary Hero. Her banner will be available from August 31, 2023, to September 14, 2023, and because this is a Legendary Hero banner, the 5★ rate will be increased to 8%.
Legendary Female Alear’s weapon, Dragon’s Fist, accelerates her special cooldown by 1, and she will always attack twice, regardless of whoever starts the battle, and deals adaptive damage if the foe’s Range is 2. Her Special, Dragon Blast, boosts her damage equal to 50% of her Speed and nullifies skills that reduce damage taken.
Artist @Horiguchi_star made the artwork for Alear’s inclusion here, with them sharing additional illustrations via their Twitter account:
Fire Emblem Engage follows the new protagonist, Alear, after their mother, Lumiere, seemingly perishes and imparts them with the mission of utilizing special rings to bring peace to the world.
These rings summon notable heroes from other Fire Emblem titles, including fan favorites like Lyn, Corrin, Marth, and Byleth. Aside from granting evident gameplay benefits and alterations, they also converse with the new Engage characters, acting as vehicles for potential growth. The gameplay this time around is more akin to the series’ past, but various minigames are still included to keep events fresh.
The game has sold over 1.61 million units worldwide.
Fire Emblem Heroes is available on iOS and Android as a free-to-play game.
