Hector is a character initially introduced in Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade. He is quite physically powerful and prideful of his upper arm strength. His Synchro Skill will increase the number of counterattacks dealt if the user’s HP is low enough.

Additionally, his Engage weapon is particularly effective against units that are mounted and heavily armored. Further, his Engage Skill enhances Defense and Resistance, while his Engage Attack significantly mitigates enemy actions and increases his own counterattack likelihood.

His Engage weapon boasts exceptional range, and his Engage Skill lowers opposing units’ Resistance when attacking via magical skills. Health will also be recovered based on the damage dealt. Lastly, his Engage Attack decimates foes over a wide radius with a variety of elemental spells.

This game follows the new protagonist Alear after their mother, Lumiere, seemingly perishes and imparts them with the mission of utilizing special rings to bring peace to the world.

These rings summon notable heroes from other Fire Emblem titles, including fan favorites such as Lyn, Corrin, Marth, and Byleth. And aside from granting evident gameplay benefits and alterations, they also converse with the new Engage characters, acting as vehicles for potential growth.
