Fire Emblem Engage Introduces Nation of Solm & Crown Princess Timerra

The official Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter account has been introducing new characters for the recently announced Fire Emblem Engage, alongside sharing new gameplay clips. Recently, a new character, Timerra, has been formally introduced alongside the nation of Solm.

NOTE: Some names and terms might differ in the official English localization.

The Kingdom of Solm is a neutral, independent nation in southeastern Elyos. It is ruled by Sfoglia, a Queen who highly values and loves freedom.

Timerra is the kingdom’s crown princess and Fogato’s elder sister. Her personality is described as innocent and jovial, likely because of how freedom-centric her nation is. Further, despite receiving an education to become the nation’s next queen, she has been granted permission to explore and roam at her leisure. As a result, she’s pretty friendly and naturally gets along with others.

Timerra also particularly enjoys hanging out at campfires and has an evident love for singing, to the extent that she concocts songs on the spot. Moreover, her initial class is Vigilante, which boasts rapid movements alongside lance usage.

Timerra has received two gameplay clips; one of combat and another of conversation. You can view these unveiled gameplay clips below:

Fire Emblem Engage is releasing for Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.

This game follows the new protagonist Alear after their mother, Lumiere, seemingly perishes and imparts them with the mission of utilizing special rings to bring peace to the world.

These rings summon notable heroes from other Fire Emblem titles, including fan favorites such as Lyn, Corrin, Marth, and Byleth. And aside from granting evident gameplay benefits and alterations, they also converse with the new Engage characters, acting as vehicles for potential growth.
