Fire Emblem Engage Introduces The Noble Siblings from The Sacred Stones; Eirika & Ephraim

The official Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter account has been introducing new characters for the recently announced Fire Emblem Engage, alongside sharing new gameplay clips. Today, the Emblem iterations of Eirika and Ephraim were introduced.

Eirika and Ephraim are noble twin siblings originating from Fire Emblem: The Sacred Stones. In combat, the two are essentially one Emblem, as they can be switched out for the other. They boast excellent attack and healing capabilities, making them adaptable to numerous tactical conflicts. Regarding Syncro Skills, Eirika enables greater damage to be dealt the higher the foe’s Defense stat is, while Ephraim’s restores health after dealing damage.

Eirika’s Engage Weapon significantly damages Cavalry and Armored units, and her Engage Skill simultaneously triggers her and her brother’s Sync Skills for dual benefits. Lastly, Eirika’s Engage Attack is highly effective against those of the Aberrant classification while heightening the chance of causing Breaks. Additionally, the damage output is amplified if the user is a Calvary unit.

Fire Emblem Engage is releasing for Nintendo Switch on January 20, 2023.

This game follows the new protagonist Alear after their mother, Lumiere, seemingly perishes and imparts them with the mission of utilizing special rings to bring peace to the world.

These rings summon notable heroes from other Fire Emblem titles, including fan favorites such as Lyn, Corrin, Marth, and Byleth. And aside from granting evident gameplay benefits and alterations, they also converse with the new Engage characters, acting as vehicles for potential growth.
