Final Fantasy XVI Shares New Art Depicting Clive Rosfield via Uniqlo

Apparel retailer Uniqlo has shared new artwork for the currently elusive Final Fantasy XVI via one of their collaborative T-shirts with Square Enix. Each mainline Final Fantasy game has received a shirt of its own, including the upcoming XVI, and this shirt depicts the protagonist Clive Rosfield.

With this new artwork alongside Yoshida’s recent statement about XVI’s development being in its final stretch, it seems likely that we’ll get more concrete news on this highly anticipated mainline entry.

You can view the new artwork depicting Clive in full below:

If you’re interested, you can check out this shirt via Uniqlo’s official digital storefront alongside the rest of the Final Fantasy apparel, though they will be available in mid-May 2022.

Staff working from home has made communication more of an arduous process, leading to delayed responses. Most of 2021 was spent addressing these issues, and the Final Fantasy XVI staff team aims to optimize the game as much as possible. The graphic quality, combat mechanics, cutscenes, and more will be the main focused points.

Lastly, Yoshida stated that the current plan is to provide new information for the title in Spring 2022.

Final Fantasy XVI is releasing for PlayStation 5 at a currently undisclosed time.
