Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Gets Release Date, New Teaser Trailer, and Collector’s Edition

Square Enix announced that the next expansion in their MMORPG series Final Fantasy XIV Online, Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers, will launch on July 2.

The release date was given during Paris’ Final Fantasy XIV Fan Festival along with the debut of a new teaser trailer. The trailer shows off mysterious characters that players will encounter during this new adventure.

Additionally, a limited edition was revealed available on the Square Enix Store page on February 6, which will include:

• Shadowbringers Special Art Box
• Dark Knight Figure: A figure of the Warrior of Darkness as a dark knight.
• Shadowbringers Art Book : An art book featuring behind-the-scenes illustrations and concept art from the development of Shadowbringers.
• Shadowbringers Logo Cling : A reusable vinyl cling featuring the Shadowbringers logo.
• FINAL FANTASY XIV Playing Card s: A deck of playing cards featuring artwork from A Realm Reborn through Shadowbringers.
• Exclusive In-Game Items
  • Grani Mount
  • Wind-up Fran Minion
  • Revolver Gunbreaker Weapon

Lastly, a Final Fantasy XIV Online Starter Edition will launch for PC and will include 30 days of subscription time. This version of the game will also be included in Twitch Prime beginning of February 4 through May 3.
