Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Receives Patch 5.11 Adding New Gameplay Features
Square Enix released details for Patch 5.11 available now in Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbrings.
Patch 5.11 follows a pretty popular updated that added in NieR: Automata characters to the game. However, this update gives players an entirely new gameplay experience where they are on a mission to bring back the glory of Ishgard.
Called the Ishgard Restoration project, players can work together from across Worlds to collaborate and revitalize the Holy See of Ishgard. This is done by collecting and crafting using materials gained through various tasks. Players who contribute can also receive rewards.
Other new additions in this update include:
- Ultimate Difficulty Raid for The Epic Alexander – Allows skilled players to join for some valuable rewards.
- New Mounts, Minions, Emotes, Housing Furnishings, and Hair Styles.
Additionally, the developer revealed future updates coming to Patch 5.15, which will include a new PvP frontline map along with an update for the popular Blue Mage. Soon, the Blue Mage will have its level cap released to 60 with new job quests.
