Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers Launches 5.1 Patch Adding NieR Collaboration Event
Square Enix announced that Patch 5.1 is now available for players of Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbrings.
Patch 5.1 is the first patch available for the newly released expansion and brings with it a few fan-awaited features including. Firstly, it introduces the collaboration with the NieR series by adding YoRHa: Dark Apocalypse alliance raid. This 24-player raid was created by Yosuke Saito and Yoko Taro to make this a collaboration that fans of both series can enjoy.
Additionally, the patch adds in a new main scenario quest along with cooperative quests where playing will need to craft and gather material to build the Firmament in Ishgard. Also, a New Game+ has been added along with a new dungeon name The Grand Cosmos that players can take on with others or by using the Trust system. The Blue Mage has also seen an update with an increased level cap and new job quests.
Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers is the latest expansion in the Final Fantasy XIV series and introduces new classes, Gunbreaker and Dancer, and characters, but most importantly new story content. Players can also explore new environments and gain access to dungeons to play with friends.
Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbrings patch 5.1 is available now on PS4 and PC.
