Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker Reveals Second Job Class Reaper With Gameplay

During Final Fantasy XIV Digital Fan Festival 2021, Square Enix revealed the newest character class Reaper coming to Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC on November 23, 2021.

This is an original job not found in any other Final Fantasy. Zenos yae Galvus will pick up the scythe as in the game’s upcoming chapters. The Reaper is a Melee DPS with the primary means of dealing damage being the two-handed scythe.

Further, there is no required job class. There are two things you need to do to unlock the Reaper, a job at level 70 and the Endwalker expansion. Job quests are planned to start in Ul’Dah. so before the release and maintenance, players are asked to make sure to log out in Ul’Dah. Pretty easy, if you ask me.

The Reaper has a dynamic attack used for close-quarter combat. The class can call upon an avatar from the void to join in a fight. Reapers can use the void’s power and channel it to utilize even more powerful abilities as players serve as a host for the avatar.
