Final Fantasy XIV Introduces Scions of the Seventh Dawn Across Several Weekly Special Articles

In an effort to engage prospective new players and to simply give these characters more limelight, Square Enix has been publishing weekly special articles showcasing the Scions of the Seventh Dawn in Final Fantasy XIV. The Scions of the Seventh Dawn are a capable group of individuals who aid the world of Eorzea.

In the first article, Minfilia Warde and Y’shtola Rhul are introduced. The former founded the precursor to the Scions of the Seventh of the Seventh Dawn, The Path of Twelve. Minfilia is a kindhearted yet a still capable and necessarily strict member, offering invaluable support to the player character.

Y’shtola is of the Miqo’te race and is remarkably adept with magic. This proficiency was even present during her younger years, and her mentor, Matoya, appears in the Heavensward expansion.

The second weekly special article introduces Thancred Waters and Yda Hext. Thancred is an expert at utilizing survival and intelligence gathering skills while being a self-proclaimed hit with the ladies. Yda is a friendly, sociable sort who is enigmatic due to her appearance and lack of divulged backstory. Papalymo is of the Lalafell race and is primarily seen with Yda. Despite how often the two bicker, they caringly look after each other. Urianger is a wise counsel who is well-known for his classical way of speech.

The next weekly special article will introduce the twins, Alphinaud and Alisaie.
