Square Enix has expanded the Final Fantasy XI Free Trial by completely removing its time limit and increasing the character level cap.
Previously, the Final Fantasy XI Free Trial could only be played for 14 days. That restriction has now been removed, allowing Free Trial accounts to continue playing without a set expiration period.
The character level cap has also increased from Level 50 to Level 75. Free Trial players can consequently progress their characters further and access additional content intended for characters up to Level 75.
The changes also apply to previously created Free Trial accounts. Players whose original 14-day trial periods have already expired can return and resume using those accounts starting today.
Free Trial players can participate in the missions, quests, battle content, updates, campaigns, and events available within the trial’s restrictions while progressing.
