Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on Switch and Xbox One Introduces Tidus and Yuna in New Trailer

Square Enix released a new trailer for the upcoming release of Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster on Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.

The trailer introduces Yuna and Tidus, two main characters in the game who are fighting to save the planet. It’s clear that the bond the two shares is strong as Tidus aims to think of ways that the world can be cleansed without the need for anyone else to get hurt.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster has been released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita but is coming to new platforms for the first time since it originally launched on the PlayStation 2. The game is a fairly linear RPG that features turn-based combat as well as, for the first time in Final Fantasy history at the time it originally launched, voice acting.

Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster will launch both physically and digitally on April 16 for Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

Author’s take: This is actually one of my favorite Final Fantasy series, I remember reading about it in high school with friends and gushing over the summons through the pages of a Game Informer. It’s going to be nice to see how the game looks on new consoles.
