Final Fantasy X Tidus & Yuna Play Arts Kai Figures Revealed for Pre-Order; Releasing 2024

Square Enix has announced that Play Arts Kai figures of Tidus and Yuna from Final Fantasy X are now available for pre-order via their online storefronts to commemorate the game’s 22nd anniversary.

Tidus’ necklace has been faithfully recreated, alongside his Brotherhood sword and a bliztball. Additionally, the Zanarkand Abes logo is depicted on his shorts. Yuna, on the other hand, is featured with her Magistral Rod weapon, swappable sleeves, and alternatively assorted hair. Both figures are also included with several swappable hand parts.

You can pre-order the Tidus Play Arts Kai figure from Square Enix North America for ¥194.99 ahead of a planned August 2024 release. The Yuna Play Arts Kai figure costs the same but is planned to ship on September 2024.

The Final Fantasy X Kabuki Theatrical Show is now officially streaming online with English subtitles until October of this year.

The Final Fantasy franchise was recently confirmed to have sold over 180 million units worldwide, alongside a Final Fantasy XVI theatre performance.

Final Fantasy X was a pivotal entry was the first mainline entry for the PS2 and featured full voice acting, plus the Sphere Grid leveling system. The remaster is available on all modern platforms and is based on the international version of the title with extra gameplay content. Throughout the game, protagonist Tidus ends up in the mysterious land of Spira after encountering a cataclysmic creature known as Sin. There, he becomes the Guardian of Yuna, a Summoner on a pilgrimage to halt the havoc caused by that very creature.
