Final Fantasy VII Remake Shows Off the Shinra Headquarters in New Screenshots

Square Enix released new screenshots for their RPG Final Fantasy VII Remake, coming to PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.

The screenshots focus on the Shinra Electric Power Company’s headquarters, which is a memorable set piece of the game’s adventure. This 70-story skyscraper sits in the middle of Midgar looming over the citizens as it sucks up the planet’s lifeforce for its own use. This will be where Cloud and his group make a counter-attack against the company following a tragic event. The screenshots also show a glimpse of the scale of the building with Cloud standing in one of the main rooms.

Final Fantasy VII Remake will tell the story of a corrupted world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as Mako Energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, and throughout the story, goes on epic adventures with an unforgettable cast of characters.
