Final Fantasy VII Remake Reveals Opening Movie Packed Full of Nostalgia
Square Enix released the opening video for Final Fantasy VII Remake, coming to PlayStation 4 on April 10.
The opening video takes players through Midgar and how civilians spend their day-to-day lives. Alternatively, it shows the parallels between the different sectors and affects that the city has on the earth. The video then ends with a scene that fans will know too well by now.
Final Fantasy VII Remake will tell the story of a corrupted world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as Mako Energy.
In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, and throughout the story, goes on epic adventures with an unforgettable cast of characters.
