Final Fantasy VII Remake Will Have Two Blu-ray Discs Worth of Content
During the Square Enix E3 2019 Press Conference, Square Enix revealed new details regarding Final Fantasy VII Remake. Yoshinori Kitase, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer, revealed that the game will have two Blu-ray discs worth of content.
Ever since the game was first announced back at E3 2015, we’ve been wondering how massive the game will be. Well, now we know and geez, that’s a lot of content. A normal Blu-ray disc for PlayStation 4 uses the 25GB and 50GB disc. This means the Final Fantasy VII Remake will either be 50GB or 100GB, we’re going to take a guess that it is the latter.
Similar to the original Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII Remake will tell the story of a corrupted world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as Mako Energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, and throughout the story, goes on epic adventures with an unforgettable cast of characters.
Just yesterday, we found out the release date and even got a new trailer too.
We’ll be having more details soon about the game, so stay tuned.
