Final Fantasy VII Remake Reveals Midgar, Summons, and the Turks in New Gameplay Trailer

Square Enix released a new trailer for their RPG Final Fantasy VII Remake, coming to PlayStation 4 on March 3, 2020.

The trailer gives players a closer look at the opening set of the game, Midgar, where the Shinra Electric Power Company has pretty much taken over and is sucking the life right out of the planet. During the trailer, players will be able to meet the entire group of Avalanche, a resistance aimed to put a stop to Shinra. Also shown is the elite group who are known as the Turks as well as a look at the summons in the game, Shiva and Ifrit.

Similar to the original Final Fantasy VII,  Final Fantasy VII Remake will tell the story of a corrupted world fallen under the control of the Shinra Electric Power Company, a shadowy corporation controlling the planet’s very life force as Mako Energy. In the sprawling city of Midgar, an anti-Shinra organization calling themselves Avalanche have stepped up their resistance. Cloud Strife, a former member of Shinra’s elite SOLDIER unit now turned mercenary, lends his aid to the group, and throughout the story, goes on epic adventures with an unforgettable cast of characters.
