Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania to Get Western Release Later This Year
In the past, many Square Enix video games have received a book release in the Ultimania series. Here, the development team shares insights to references used along with character designs, story direction, and information.
While many of these books have been left for fans to import, the Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania won’t be left as a Japanese exclusive. The Hardcover edition released in October 2020 in Japan is slated to come west on December 7, 2021.
This will be the English localized version of the book, so now western fans can solve the mystery of Tifa’s breast size that was revealed when the book was released in Japan. The Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania is 336 pages and available to pre-order now. There’s also a digital version planned for release.
Additional information in the Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania is interviews with the development team that I’m sure many western fans will be eager to read. There are also interviews with the voice actors alongside costume designs and storyboard scenes.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of Final Fantasy VII Remake: Material Ultimania. Sadly, there are no preview images of the English version so far, but we’ll keep an eye out.
