Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Will Only be PS5 Exclusive for 6 Months

Let’s face it, we were all hoping Final Fantasy VII Remake would reveal a PC or additional console release, but then we got Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, and everything was okay.

However, with PlayStation parading that it’s a PlayStation 5 exclusive, well, that’s not entirely true. The ad campaigns for the game now share that Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be a console exclusive for “At least six months earlier than any other format.” The wording is always key with these statements as they don’t use the word platform. This could very well be a PC release is on the way.

Regardless, many fans want the game on PC to utilize PC options that could enhance the game above what a console could. However, it’s no doubt that the PS5 version is gorgeous. Further, there’s no mention of the Yuffie DLC titled FF7R Episode INTERmission, but we don’t see them leaving that on the table.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will also launch as a physical and digital edition. There’s a digital deluxe version that comes with a mini-soundtrack and digital artbook. Also, those who pre-order will receive a Cacstar weapon for Yuffie to use in battle.

As of right now, the story content seems to only be available on PS5, as the publisher states, “Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, the PS5 enhancement update, and the standalone downloadable episode featuring Yuffie will be available for the PS5 console worldwide on June 10, 2021.”
