Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Will Shockingly Have New Party Members & Closer Cooperative Interaction
Today, the official Final Fantasy VII Remake Twitter account shared its fifth consecutive daily developer message regarding the upcoming direct sequel, Final Fantasy VII Rebirth.
- The first Final Fantasy VII Rebirth developer message from producer Yoshinori Kitase stated that development has been progressing smoothly, and the team is working on finalizing a release date.
- The second Final Fantasy VII Rebirth developer message from director Naoki Hamaguchi stated that fans can anticipate a high degree of freedom with several different stories to experience.
- The third Final Fantasy VII Rebirth developer message from writer Kazushige Nojima stated that players can anticipate a chain of narrative developments at the core of the FFVII story alongside each character’s destiny.
- The fourth Final Fantasy VII Rebirth developer message from co-director Motomu Toriyama reiterated that one does not need to know the events of Remake to enjoy this sequel.
Today, Teruki Endo stated that players can anticipate new party members and that you’ll be able to “cooperate with other party members in even closer ways than before.” This response feels even more vague than the other ones, but the latter half at least has a little meat to it. Perhaps there will be more team attack interactions like with Yuffie and Sonon in Intergrade.
Honestly, I wouldn’t be surprised if there was some hidden code placed throughout these messages considering how abundantly obvious these replies have been thus far.
We’ll keep you all updated on any future Final Fantasy VII Rebirth comments that are released.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is the sequel to the first entry in this ongoing Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy effort. Throughout the announcement trailer, players got a tease of the Nibleheim flashback with Cloud and Sephiroth and Zack carrying Cloud, seemingly from either the end of Crisis Core or the end of Remake.
Final Fantasy VII Rebirth will launch exclusively for PlayStation 5 this Winter.
