Square Enix has announced that the highly-elusive mobile title Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis will receive its closed beta test in Summer 2023 instead of the previously stated 2022 window.
For those unaware, this title has been stated to contain the entire Final Fantasy VII story, from the original game to the compilation material, including Dirge of Cerberus, Advent Children, and Before Crisis. This delay is quite significant, so hopefully, there’s an emphasis on quality assurance to compensate for it.
