Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis Will Adapt Light Novel Material & Update Monthly

In the latest Famitsu issue, new information for Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis was revealed, which is set to launch tomorrow. Creative Director Tetsuya Nomura, Director Toriyama Motomu, and Producer Ichikawa Shōichi were interviewed.

When the game releases, players will be able to experience events from the original Final Fantasy VII, Crisis Core, and The First Soldier. The lattermost will feature new characters Glenn, Lucia, Matt, and more, while also exploring younger Sephiroth.

The original Final Fantasy VII’s portrayal will feature new lines and adapt light novel material written by Nojima, such as when Tifa meets AVALANCHE in Traces of Two Pasts. When the game is out tomorrow, the entirety of the story in Midgar will be playable. Story updates are planned once a month for the three depicted games so far, with seemingly one chapter each time.
