Square Enix has announced a new board game based on Final Fantasy VII, titled Climb the Shinra Building, set to release on November 6, 2026, for ¥4,400.

In this title, players stack floor pieces on top of walls to build upward, but the Shinra tower gradually tilts. Coordination and careful placement are required to keep the structure steady. The goal is to reach the eighth floor without causing the building to fall.

It supports one to five players, with an average playtime of 15 to 30 minutes. Character art and package illustrations are supervised by Tetsuya Nomura, with stylized wooden pieces depicting characters such as Cloud, Tifa, and Aerith.

The set includes 20 floor tiles, 54 wall pieces, 24 action cards, 24 wooden tokens, and multilingual rule sheets in Japanese, English, French, and German.
