Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster Releasing Early November For PC and Mobile; 20% Pre-Order Steam Discount
Publisher and developer Square Enix has announced that the fifth entry in the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster effort, Final Fantasy V, will be releasing for PC via Steam and Mobile devices on November 10, 2021, for a base price of $17.99. However, pre-orders through Steam (including via the bundle) are discounted to 20% off, resulting in a $14.39 price point that comes with the game, 3 arranged music tracks, and 2 digital wallpapers.
The 3 arranged music tracks that arrive with pre-orders are listed below:
- Main Theme of Final Fantasy V (Timelapse Remix)
- Battle at the Big Bridge (Timelapse Remix)
- A New World (Timelapse Remix)
The first 4 Final Fantasy titles have already received their Pixel Remaster variants and are currently on PC and Mobile. You can access each store page for these games via the official Pixel Remaster website.
The official Steam page for Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster also houses numerous screenshots, giving a clearer perspective of this new art style direction that players can expect.
For those unaware, there is also a bundle containing all 6 Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster games, discounting the overall purchase made compared to getting each individually.
Final Fantasy V is the mainline Final Fantasy entry I hear the least about, next to Final Fantasy XI. It’s also the only mainline title I haven’t yet played too (not counting XI), so I’m looking forward to giving it a shot since I’ve heard it boasts a fantastic, addicting Job system.
