In particular, the update implements New Game+, Zodiac compatibility, and new options. Zodiac compatibility elucidates the good, bad, and special relationships among the Zodiac signs, affecting battles.

About Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles

The Ivalice Chronicles includes enhanced and classic modes. The enhanced version introduces fully voiced dialogue in both English and Japanese, an overhauled user interface, high-resolution visuals, and several quality-of-life improvements.

Meanwhile, the classic version preserves the look and mechanics of the original 1997 release. Still, it includes the War of the Lions script and a few helpful tweaks, such as auto-save and an optional Squire difficulty for newcomers.

Final Fantasy Tactics is set in the world of Ivalice, following the story of Ramza Beoulve, a young nobleman who becomes embroiled in a conflict between competing political factions.

Final Fantasy Tactics – The Ivalice Chronicles is available on Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
