Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster to Launch FF I, II, and III in Late July

Square Enix has launched the Steam pages for three entries of their collection Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster including Final Fantasy I, Final Fantasy II, and Final Fantasy III to launch on July 28, 2021.

Each game is being sold separately and has a special discounted promotion of 20% lasting till August. Additionally, there’s a bundle available with all six titles for $74.82 with a 22% discount. However, Final Fantasy IV through VI have not received a release date at this time.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster brings each of the classic Final Fantasy titles to PC and mobile devices with completely new graphics and audio. The games have been touched up with remodeled 2D art for the characters, world, and enemies. Further, attack animations have been remastered as well. Each game can be played in any order and there are have been quality-of-life options added that allow auto-battle through a new UI. Further, the rearranged soundtrack has been overseen by the original composer Nobuo Uematsu.

Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster is coming to PC-via Steam and iOS and Android devices. No other platforms have been announced at this time.
