Final Fantasy IV, V, and VI Pixel Remasters Steam Release Dates Potentially Leaked

The release dates for the upcoming Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster entries of Final Fantasy IV, Final Fantasy V, and Final Fantasy VI have seemingly been revealed on Steam Database. Obviously, these release dates are in no way definitive and could be altered, but their stated placements on the database could certainly be in the ballpark ranges of release.

  • Final Fantasy IV Pixel Remaster is stated to be released on Steam on August 19, 2021.
  • Final Fantasy V Pixel Remaster is stated to be released on Steam on September 9, 2021.
  • Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster is stated to be released on Steam on September 30, 2021.

Having these titles not releasing simultaneously like the prior 3 entires is a bit curious, but considering their lengthier playtimes and general hype, especially for VI, the spaced-out releases could be a smarter release strategy. Then again, I’m not a market strategist or anything, so I’m really just spitballing.

Either way, I am looking forward to these future releases. Regardless of the controversies surrounding certain elements of these remasters, such as the horrid font, the enhanced presentation is appealing enough for me to consider purchasing, at least.

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster releases for Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, and Final Fantasy III are currently available on Steam.
